Ideas for final animation

Thinking of storyboard for my 20/30second clip, which is suitable has strangly proven difficult. I want my story to be lively, humorous and full of action. I have been constrained by the time frame I have to create the animation aswell as the amount of time to capture the story. There are many different ways I could create this animation but I think I definately want characters, my chosen preference - cheeky Dung Beetles.  I am turning to my trusted television for inspiration and what does it spit back at me?

This wicked animation created to advertise Lumix cameras is the sort of route I want my project to be going with. What makes this advert so good is that the animation team has done something unexpected to a iconic figure, create drama and interest.


How could I create this using my dung beetles?? pondering is needed..
